SLIP AND SLIDE!!!
Fun at the Gasaway's
We are so excited about what God is doing among the young adults at our church. We have so many new young families joining the church. We all have so much fun together. We played volleyball, horseshoes, ate homemade ice cream and hotdogs last Sunday night together. The kids have so much fun together as well.

Last year in Elementary
Today we were privileged to go to an awards ceremony that honored Tyler and 12 other 4th graders. (there is around 150 in his grade) They honored the 4th graders with the presidential education acheivement award. It was for those who have made all a's as well as making 85% or better on standardized tests. This also marked the last time we would walk into
Wedding Hair and Day!!
Wedding day finally arrived! We rushed around trying to get the reception (in our backyard) ready. The yard looked very pretty (I hope to have pictures on blogspot soon). Elise and the bridesmaids got their hair done together. They began at 7 am and didn't finish until 3 pm. Elise's hair was very pretty. I was amazed at how much hair she had after it was curled. The stylist did go on to put it up.
Elise did a good job at standing in her place, but did not throw one flowerpetal. She thought they were hers to take home!
Warren did a good job too. :)
Down on the farm
We have a very nice couple at church named the Newberry's. Our kids really like them. They are retired and have a small farm with lots of cows, chickens and catfish. Mr. Newberry gives our family fresh eggs and beef often. One egg the kids got to gather had triple yokes. The picture shows a single, double and the triple yoke eggs. The kids also got to see twin calfs and feed the catfish-we plan to fish there real soon. (maybe when grandpa is here!!)

Mara, Danny, and Ashley are back in Arkansas!!
We were so excited to see Mara and Danny yesterday! The boys were at school and Ashley was at work. Elise has been looking forward to seeing Mara. We brought her a few little goodies. The girls sat and colored in the coloring book just about the whole time. The girls will enjoy playing together! (Both are 4 and still have another year before they start school) Welcome back guys!!

Strawberry Season is here!
We were so surprised to hear that the strawberries over in Pocola, OK at Wild Things made it through the freeze. They said they were the only ones around that were able to save their berries! Oh did we have fun!! We picked 30 pounds of strawberries. I froze them when we got home. Ethan missed a day of school to go pick berries with us.
So Much Fun!
We have so much fun watching Elise play teeball this year. She plays/practices on Tuesday and Fridays. She plays on a team with girls 3, 4, 5, and 6 years old. She has two of her friends from church on her team. Elise will be a good ballplayer as she gets older. She already stops the ball well and hits the ball to the baselines. Her team name is the "Little Darlings". Of course Elise has the pink bat, glove, cleats, batting helmet, and bag. Go Elise!!!
Take me out to the Ballpark!
We spend every Monday and Thursday at the ballfields with Ethan. He is playng pitching machine baseball this year. As was with tee ball, Ethan is very talented. He has hit 6 homeruns so far this season. He plays shortstop. His team is tied for 1st place so far. We enjoy watching him play and cheering him on!! Go Ethan!

Dakota turns 1!!
Dakota turned one yesterday. We had a party at our house and had so much fun. We ate dinner (chicken strips, mashed potatoes, spinach casserole, mac and cheese, jalapeno bread and strawberry poke cake), played pin the tail on the donkey, and went outside and had fun. Dakota's friend Zac came with them also. Happy Birthday Dakota!
